coat in yarn confetti
innocence
We know the foundation of a supportive childhood holds great weight on every person, let alone queer people. There is a beautiful stage of development when a child can fully be who they are, without a worry or conscience. They feel shame & guilt based on actions, but not yet for identity. This coat resembles “putting your heart on your sleeve” & showing the world your colors without fear.
